Fine art finger painter
As soon as she could hold a paint brush, Kimberly McBride began her artistic training with her artist grand mother, Vera Richardson (BFA, Tyler School of Art, Temple University). While in her twenties, McBride began experimenting with acrylic paint on canvas, using her fingers instead of brushes. She was hooked.
McBride, very tactile by nature, says, “my technique is based on kinetic energy. We all need the human touch in order to experience authenticity, why not a canvas, a work of art? My art, especially the portraits, deserve my direct energy. My energy and a bold palette of colors fill my canvas’ with passionate power.”
McBride resides in Hailey, Idaho with her husband and two dogs.
