My photographs are often inspired by landscape, but not limited to it. Architecture, ancient ruins, religious temples also intrigue me. My most recent work is of the Khumbu region of Nepal and Kathmandu and includes landscapes, World Heritage sites, and portraits. I mostly work with a 4″x5″ view camera, but use my 8″x10″ and my Leica m2 depending on the subject and project. I still work with film simply because I am enamored with the silver gelatin and platinum print. After having perfected my craft for over forty years, the excitement of the darkroom still calls.
